Dr. Travis Hamilton PT, DPT
Dr. Hamilton began his therapy journey as a patient recovering from a traumatic ankle injury while playing Division I college soccer. After months of self rehabilitation he never regained his quickness and wanted to know why! This led him to pursue therapy as a career so that he could help others avoid a similar outcome.
After completing his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Belmont University in Nashville, TN he returned home to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida where he rekindled his love for the game of Golf.
Since graduation Travis has earned his Manual Therapy Certification from the Ola Grimsby Institute, has obtained his Graston Institute Certification for instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and has become a Titleist Performance Institute certified instructor to help clients improve their individual Golf game. This prestigious certification consists of the careful analysis of a player's swing as well as thorough review of the physical and functional tools needed to maximize their potential on the course. Dr. Hamilton enjoys the ability to work with his clients to develop a personalized plan designed to assess, treat, and plan an approach that works best to optimize performance.
When he is not working with clients you can find Travis either with his wife and three children or at the golf course chasing the goal of getting better each day
